In this follow on book to the first in the Alan Ramsey series, The Final Defense, Alan Ramsey finds himself in Moscow following the leads to a possible weapons cache and arms dealer, expatriated Soviet General, Dmitry Gregorov, when his investigation takes an unexpected turn causing him and his team to refocus their efforts on Nikki Sidorova, a skilled operative and assassin who is on a mission of her own.
The story begins in the Drina Valley of Bosnia in 1995 and follows the march of about 10,000 refugees as they flee the bombing of Srebrenica by the ruthless Serbian Army, giving an historical perspective of the frightening actual account, the march to the U.N. safe zone at Potocari Base, and a look at the horrors and the realities of the Srebrenica Massacre.
This book reintroduces Paul Jackson and Gabe Anderson, and delves into the life of Nikki Sidorova from The Final Defense. It also introduces several new and exciting characters into the story as well as reaches into the past for others.

I enjoy true, historical biographies and don't normally go for fiction thrillers, but I have to admit, after the first few pages of Flags of Vengeance, I was hooked. Kenneth Wash combines historical fact with a creative imagination into a well-spun, suspenseful story with engaging characters. And he touches all the emotions: shock, sadness, humor, but most of all, he leaves us with hope and anticipation for the next pages in the life of Alan Ramsey and Nikki Sidorova.Product details

Fast-paced moving book. Read for a couple hours good CIA book . Action-packed . Start of a good series series
Read the first and enjoyed the heck out of it....read Flags of Vengeance and couldn't put it down. The technical knowledge of the writer and his way of infusing all into this sad but somewhat true story is riveting. Cheers to the next Tom Clancy.
Another amazing read by Kenneth Wash. It's an honor to be the first person to review this book. Anyone who is a military novel buff needs to get Kenneth Wash's works in their library.

Greatly anticipated this book after reading his first book. It didn't let me down. The authors ability to make you feel like you are part of the never ending action and lose yourself in the details of the characters lives is amazing!. Hoping there will be a third!
